Health and Welfare and RRSP Information for Members of Canadian IATSE Locals working in Local 118 Jurisdiction

Health Benefits Transfer


IATSE Members working in the jurisdiction of a Canadian IATSE Local other than their own can request their health benefit employer contributions be transferred to their home Local. These Members may choose where they want to pool their health benefits if they belong to more than one Canadian local.


RRSP Funds Transfer


IATSE Members who are members of the Canadian Entertainment Industry Retirement Plan (CEIRP), may request, in writing, the transfer any RRSP funds that have been remitted to
IATSE Local 118 be deposited to their CEIRP account. Most Collective Agreements provide for RRSP benefits for Local 118 members only.

AFTER, you have completed your first call with Local 118, or if has been more than 24 months since your last Local 118 call, please contact the IATSE Local 118 Health and Welfare
Administrator with your written request and the following information:

  • Date and Collective Agreement (or location) of your first call with IATSE Local 118
  • Completed Reciprocal Agreement Form - 2024-Reciprocal-Agreement-Member-Direction-EN.pdf (iatse.net)
  • Your CEIRP Certificate Number and the last three (3) numbers of your Social Insurance Number (SIN) (i.e., SIN - *** *** 123)
